I was gifted this set, and overall it is a nice combo set considering the total price. I was worried about the quality at first because the instruction manual is littered with many blatant spelling and grammar errors while trying to present itself as a high quality product. It's a hit or miss whether the knives come sharp or not. In my case, most knives came quite sharp. The Santoku knife was perfectly sharp, but the chef's knife in particular came with all kinds of tiny deformities and the edge was folded over. This meant that it was pretty dull right out of the box. I've attached some images. The Santoku knife was perfectly sharp. The edge you see which looks good is the Santoku knife, and the rough/folded-over edges are from the chef's knife. To remedy this, I bought a separate diamond sharpening stone + strop so that I could learn freehand sharpening to fix and maintain their edges. After manually sharpening and correcting the chef's knife, it cuts razor sharp. I would never try to use the cheap built-in little pull through sharpener as it would likely mangle and ruin the edges even more. If you're ordering a bunch of cheap knives, I would suggest learning how to freehand sharpen them so that they actually give you the quality cuts your looking for.
This knife set is amazing! Every knife feels super sturdy, sharp, and comfortable to hold. I love the sleek stainless-steel design and the wooden block looks beautiful on the counter. It comes with everything you need and cuts effortlessly. Definitely worth the price!

Light weight and good grip. They slide right through what I need to cut. Soo smooth and easy to use. And they look great! I like that there’s a sharpener on the corner too! Some are missing from the images cause we use them often. Very happy with my purchase

The shine on these knives is crazy. They look expensive but aren’t - they’re a great price for he quality. They’re lightweight and haven’t rusted or stained. Highly recommend.

The knife design is beautiful and an eye catcher when people come to visit. Although you get a lot of knives the holder does not take up too much counter space. I was worried about my hand slipping using these knives due to no grip or texture change but they have been easy to use and my 10 year old uses them to help chop food.

The knives are super sharp and work very well for the price. The material of the knife causes rust to form overnight if you aren't careful. We have had them a month and dropping one on the floor caused it to slip in half which is another aspect of them being fragile. I am still giving them a 4 star because the knife cuts so well, just be careful lol
Beautiful, sharpness, great quality and price. They are so sharp we have to be very careful.I thought the holder was Dark chocolate. But this color works with our dark cabinets.
