Wow!The stainless steel knives are of course more rust resistant that other knives. The block is REAL wood like mahogany. The 2 shears are very sturdy. The picture appears like black & white on the blades; they are actually laser etched stainless steel. Slicing thin slices is easier with these blades. I love it. Would be a handsome gift.
Nice set, very stylish, sharp and well made. Wish they were more slanted because I have to pull the whole block out to get a knife.
Bought the 15 piece wooden handle set back in 2021, they are still in good shape and very sharp. I am so impressed with that set I decided to upgrade to the 21 piece set. The wood block is heavy and feels sturdy. The knives are sharp right out of the box. The handles feel soldid and fit well in the hand. They were packaged very well. I'm looking forward to years of use with the new set. The old set will be given to my eldest when she moves out. I highly recommend Astercook knife sets in any size. Please don't drop them in your dishwater and stick your hands in looking for them, you'll cut yourself.
Beautiful sharp blades, dishwasher safe.
The knives are sharp and cut very good. I love the style and craftsmanship. I highly recommend.
Twice the quality then these I paid 30$ more for at Walmart!!! Absolutely a great deal

This knife set is sharp and stay sharp for a while. I've had these knives for 2 months and I cut granite cutting board. For the price, they good.
I've had them for a few days now and they are very nice knives for the price. And they look great too!
My wife is in love with this new knife set! All the knives & blades look to have been well made & using quality materials. The handles are very sturdy & feel great in the hand. As far as cutting goes... this set provides you with EVERY SINGLE TOOL for the RIGHT JOB. Each knife performs its duties flawlessly. We have no complaints with this knife set & block. We have nothing but good things to say about it. One of the BEST features that this knife block has... is that it can simply sharpen Knives. Because its built into the knife block itself it makes the whole set just on another level. Not to mention having such a compact knife sharpener in the MOST CONVENIENT space in the kitchen.I would HIGHLY recommend this knife block set over & over again.
